Lecturers return from Cameroon

Admire Kachepa and Eliazer Mbaeva, Lecturers in the Department of Informatics, recently returned from Cameroon where they presented guest lectures in “Business Process Management” and “Enterprise Systems” at the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM).

The two staff members participated in a staff exchange programme that is part of a trilateral project between the Poly, Flensburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and Institute of Technology and Management in Cameroon. The staff visit follows a previous successful visit by six Poly students to the same institution a month ago.

The Deputy Head of the Department of Informatics, Josephat Mukabi, who coordiates the trilateral project at the Poly, said that the three institutions have since 2012 actively engaged in the areas of faculty and student exchange, curriculum development and joint research.

The visit was sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and covered all costs, including travel and accommodation.
