Students receive practical training on Livestock Science and Management

Final-year students studying Large Ruminant Husbandry in the Department of Agriculture of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Spatial Sciences recently attended the first-ever training sessions on Bonsmara bulls offered by the Bonsmara Association.

The students were taken through various aspects of farming with Bonsmara bulls by a number of experts from Namibia and South Africa. The training was concluded with students writing two compulsory exams on practical training. They are expected to graduate next semester. Students are pictured above with the lecturers who presented various topics that also included veterinary and practical demonstrations.
